Brandon Declet

Brandon Torres Declet serves as Vice President at McAllister & Quinn and currently leads its Defense, Homeland security and Intelligence practice. Brandon brings more than a decade of experience working among senior government officials at the federal, state and local level. Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn he served as Counsel to Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) on the Senate Judiciary Committee and as Counsel to Representative Bennie Thompson (D-MS) on the House Homeland Security Committee.

Brandon has experience in the appropriations process as well as developing legislative and policy initiatives in the areas of homeland security, judiciary, transportation, defense, technology, and intelligence. He was previously a Senior Fellow at the Homeland Security Policy Institute (HSPI) at George Washington University, an advisor to the New York City Police Department (NYPD) Counter Terrorism Bureau and an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University. He also served as a senior analyst with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), specializing in defense related policy issues. Brandon earned a B.A. from Union College, a J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law and an L.L.M. from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association. He serves on the boards of the Hispanic Lobbyists Association and the Homeland Security & Defense Business Council.
